We’ve talked about Tutu cupcake toppers now let’s talk about bow tie napkins. It’s a decoration that can also wipe off that smudge your little kindly left on your shoulder (it’s one of the few gifts they can give). All you’ll need are napkins, a pair of scissors, and either string, raffia, or ribbon.
Start by opening the napkin, like so.
Fold the napkin lengthwise (hot dog style). Your little’s hands can help.
Fold each side into the middle, overlapping one side slightly over the other.
Tie your raffia around the center of your napkin. If you can, hold the four corners of your napkin while you’re doing this so that it ruffles where it needs to.
Fluff it a bit and you’re in business.
Combining bow ties and tutus is a perfect theme for a a gender reveal party, a birthday party, or a twins baby shower (like we did for Marisabel, we should post those photos sometime, huh?). Place them in a basket, line them on a table, or throw them at your guests when they least expect it. Try it out and tag us in your photos!
