Alright, adventurers. I have another secret weapon for you! Summer is coming to a close, but I refuse to let it go without sharing my favorite summer treat with you. It’s quick, easy, and a huge hit for both kids and adults. We call it “Frookie” at our house.
Here it is:
Ingredients2 16.5oz rolls of Pillsbury refrigerated sugar cookie dough1 8oz package of Philadelphia Whipped cream cheese1 12oz package of cool whip (or 12oz of homemade whipped cream!)2 packages of fresh strawberries (sliced)1 package of fresh blueberries 1 package of fresh raspberries
Directions Heat oven to 350°F. Butter a large cookie sheet (must have a lip). In pan, break up cookie dough; press dough evenly along the bottom of the pan to form crust. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
In small bowl, beat cream cheese and cool whip with electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Spread mixture over cooled crust. Arrange fruit over cream cheese. Refrigerate until chilled. Cut, serve, and enjoy! Cover and refrigerate any remaining leftovers (let’s be honest, there won’t be any). Make it your own by adding slices of kiwi, bananas, or any other fruit your little desires! Good luck and let us know how it goes! Tag us on Instagram, Facebook, and twitter to show us how it turns out!
